To help you make the most of your workshop experience, you are encouraged to arrive with a plan. Before attending, make a list of your research goals and questions, and bring any supporting documents, family records, photographs, notes, charts, or other information related to those goals. Having these materials readily available will help the FamilySearch Center volunteers and fellow researchers assist you more effectively which may lead to new discoveries and research breakthroughs.  Bring a USB Flash Drive to save your discoveries for your personal records.  You can bring your laptop as well.

Please note that a FamilySearch.org account is not required to participate. However, you will likely have a more productive experience if you create a free FamilySearch account. If you are so inclined, you could also establish a family tree on the FamilySearch website before attending.
